How do I get my first Crucible?
The Workbench recipe turns 1 Limestone Flux and 1 Large Clay Pot into 1 Crucible. It is learned by default and lists no additional crafting tool, so this recipe does not require you to already own a Crucible. Start by checking the two ingredient pages below.
Why can I still not make glass with a Crucible?
The listed glass-container recipes also require Crucible Tongs and the Forge. For a Glass Globe, prepare 8 Limestone Chalk as well. That globe is then an ingredient for an Alembic. A Crucible alone does not complete this chain, and a Small Cauldron is not the tool these glass recipes call for.
